Rebecca Cipolla attended Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, PA, where she earned a bachelor’s in health sciences and a master’s of physician assistant. In September 2007, she took a position working for Fairfield County Bariatrics and Surgical Specialists as a bariatric office PA. There, she followed bariatric patients on their journey to successful weight loss.

In the spring of 2008, Rebecca began assisting the practice’s surgeons at St. Vincent’s Medical Center in the operating room. Recently, she transferred to full-time status at St. Vincent’s as a bariatric surgery PA, while maintain part-time hours at the practice.

In addition to assisting the bariatric surgeons in the operating room, her responsibilities include greeting the patients in the pre-op area, ensuring a smooth transition in and out of the operating room, and post-operative care during the patient’s stay at the Medical Center. Because of her experience both in the office and OR, Rebecca has become well informed of the bariatric process and is more than happy to answer any of your questions. She looks forward to taking care of you during your stay!
