Obesity is a condition that has now reached epidemic proportions worldwide. It is believed that over 60% of the American population is obese and that obesity contributes to 300,000-500,000 deaths a year. Life expectancy and quality of life are often reduced due to weight-related diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, arthritis, depression and sleep apnea. Additionally, many patients experience social discrimination in their families and places of employment. We commend your decision to change this pattern and are committed to helping you succeed.
Our bariatric team will work to ensure that we meet your expectations by providing the highest standards of surgical care for the treatment of morbid obesity. Our team of experienced surgeons, doctors, anesthesiologists, operating room staff, nurses, nutritionists, and therapists know how to care for obese patients and are committed to taking care of you before, during and after your stay with us. When choosing a Bariatric program keep in mind that we have three bariatric surgeons, which means that someone will always be available to help you if you have an emergency or difficulties after your surgery.
